The John H. Seely House in Mount Pleasant, Utah, began as a modest dwelling constructed around 1870 by Jens C. Meiling, but was substantially transformed through an extensive renovation completed in 1890 that created the structure seen today. The renovated house, which may have been designed by Richard C. Watkins, reflects Victorian architectural style and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
