The Johnson-Portis House, located at 400 Avalon Street in West Memphis, Arkansas, is a Tudor Revival residence built between 1936 and 1938 by architects George Mahan Jr. and Everett Woods for local judge J.C. Johnson. The house exemplifies the style through its steeply pitched roof, half-timbered gables, and small-paned windows, while its estate grounds were landscaped by the firm Highberger and Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017, it remains a prominent local example of the Tudor Revival mode.
