The Kabetogama Ranger Station District in St. Louis County, Minnesota, is a historic complex built between 1933 and 1941 by the Civilian Conservation Corps as an administrative center for Kabetogama State Forest. Exemplifying National Park Service rustic architecture, the district comprises ten contributing properties—six buildings including a ranger station, residence, warehouse, boathouse, and utility structures; three structures such as a retaining wall, tramway, and breakwater; and a circular road system. Following the establishment of Voyageurs National Park in the 1970s, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources donated the property to the National Park Service in 1987, which continues to operate it as one of four administrative and visitor entrances to the park. Recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 for its architectural and historical significance, the district stands as a tangible legacy of Depression-era CCC conservation work.
