The King City High School Auditorium in King City, California is an Art Moderne structure completed in 1939 with Works Progress Administration funding. Designed by architect Robert Stanton of Carmel in partnership with sculptor Joseph Jacinto Mora, the building exemplifies the WPA Moderne style that emerged across the region during the Depression era. Mora's extensive sculptural elements are integral to the auditorium's aesthetic, which combines modernist streamlining with decorative sculptural detail. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains one of several significant WPA Moderne structures in the area.
