The Hyde County Memorial Auditorium in Highmore, South Dakota, completed in 1951, is a Streamline Moderne structure designed by architect Ursa L. Freed in a transitional style between Art Deco and Art Moderne. Built through community fundraising efforts that began in 1945 and raised $25,000, the auditorium serves both civic and commemorative functions, hosting basketball games, concerts, theater, and other community events while also providing space for municipal offices. A memorial plaque in the lobby honors local residents who served in wars from the American Civil War onward. The building's opening celebration featured Yogi Yorgesson and the "Scandahoovians," his seven-piece band. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.
