Circleville Memorial Hall is a three-story Richardsonian Romanesque structure in Circleville, Ohio, built in 1891 as both a Civil War memorial and community center. Constructed of brick with a stone foundation, the building exemplifies the style through rounded archways, heavy masonry, stone-trimmed ribbon windows, columns, and a prominent corner tower. Following Ohio legislation enacted in 1871 that permitted counties to raise funds for Civil War memorials, Pickaway County commissioned the hall two decades later to honor war victims. Beyond its commemorative purpose, the building has served the community for generations, housing the city's public library on its first floor and featuring the largest meeting hall in Circleville on its upper floors, including a community auditorium with a third-floor balcony. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the building has undergone recent renovations to its roof, HVAC systems, and windows.
