At the intersection of Main and High Streets in Bryan, Ohio, the Williams County Courthouse stands as a distinguished example of Romanesque Revival architecture completed in 1891. Designed by Toledo architect E.O. Fallis and approved by the county in 1888, the building replaced an earlier courthouse in a town that had served as the county seat since 1840. The structure's most prominent features include a large central clock tower and eight turrets adorning its sides, with both large and small turrets positioned above each entrance bay. Built during an era when Romanesque Revival was enjoying national popularity, the courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 7, 1973.
