The King David Kalakaua Building in Honolulu is a courthouse and former federal complex designed by the architectural firm York and Sawyer in Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles. Originally serving as the U.S. Post Office, Customhouse, and Courthouse, it functioned as the principal seat of federal administration for both the Territory of Hawaii and the State of Hawaii. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building stands as a significant example of early twentieth-century civic architecture in the Hawaiian islands.
