Konabe Kofun is a zenpō-kōen-fun—a keyhole-shaped burial mound—located in Nara, Japan, and designated as an imperial mausoleum. This architectural form, characteristic of elite tombs from Japan's Kofun period, features the distinctive combined design of a rectangular front section and a circular rear chamber, a layout that became a defining feature of monumental funerary architecture in ancient Japan.
