Built in 1913, the Ladies Literary Club Clubhouse at 850 East South Temple Street in Salt Lake City exemplifies Prairie School architecture, designed by the firm Treganza & Ware. The building served the Ladies Literary Club, founded in 1877 as the oldest women's club west of the Mississippi River and successor to the Blue Tea literary club established in 1876. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, the clubhouse passed to the Utah Heritage Foundation in 2013 before being sold to Photo Collective Studios in 2016, with a preservation easement recorded to safeguard its historic character both inside and out.
