The Langdon House is a rare surviving example of Steamboat Gothic architecture on the eastern side of Cincinnati, Ohio. Built in 1855 as a frame dwelling with weatherboarded walls in the then-independent village of Columbia (now annexed to Cincinnati), it stands along Eastern Avenue. The house gained historical significance not only for its unusually well-preserved architectural style—few other Steamboat Gothic houses remain in Cincinnati—but also for its association with owner Henry Langdon, who served in the 79th Ohio Infantry during the Civil War and later practiced medicine from the house after his 1865 return until his death in 1876. Recognized for its architectural importance, the Langdon House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.
