Built in 1890 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Charles A. Miller House is a Gothic Revival residence designed by architect Samuel Hannaford. Constructed of brick and limestone with a slate roof, the two-and-a-half-story structure displays characteristic medieval-inspired details including crenellated battlements and a prominent entrance portico. The facade showcases courses of ashlar stonework that serves both decorative and structural purposes, forming the horizontal lintels and bands around the building. Its rectangular floor plan spans two bays wide and four bays deep, with a gable accenting the right portion and battlements concentrated on the left side. The house exemplifies the post-and-lintel construction typical of its era and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
