Constructed in 1907 in Longmont, Colorado, this fire station exemplifies the Chicago School architectural style. Built on the site of an earlier 1884 firehouse, it was designed to echo the facade of its predecessor, incorporating the historic fire bell and pole from the original station to preserve continuity with Longmont's firefighting heritage. The building served as an active fire station until 1971, when it transitioned to other uses. Now owned by the City of Longmont and leased to the Firehouse Art Center, it was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and included as a contributing structure in the Downtown Longmont Historic District designation in 2017.
