The Ludwick Rudisel Tannery House, also known as Motter Place, is a brick Georgian residence built around 1807 in Taneytown, Carroll County, Maryland. Constructed on a fieldstone foundation with an original slate roof, the main block measures five bays in length and two bays deep, while a two-story brick kitchen wing extends from the structure. The house combines Georgian massing with refined Federal detailing, representing early nineteenth-century domestic architecture in the region. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
