Lviv–Holovnyi railway station, the main railway terminal in Lviv, Ukraine, is a landmark example of Vienna Secession architecture designed by Władysław Sadłowski and opened to the public in 1904. One of the most notable pieces of Art Nouveau architecture in former Galicia, the station reflects the refined aesthetic principles of early 20th-century Central European design. Today recognized as a local cultural heritage monument of architecture in Ukraine, it remains a vital transportation hub, handling over 1.2 million passengers monthly and moving 16 thousand tons of freight.
