Main Tower is a 56-storey, 200-metre postmodern skyscraper completed in 1999 in Frankfurt's Innenstadt district, named after the nearby Main river. Rising to 240 metres with its antenna spire, it ranks as Germany's fourth-tallest building. The structure's distinctive design features two seemingly connected towers: a smaller, cuboid section echoing 1970s modernism, and a taller circular tower clad in blue glass topped by a transmission antenna. Main Tower uniquely offers public viewing platforms—the only skyscraper in Frankfurt with an accessible observatory. The building's foyer contains two artworks open to visitors: Bill Viola's video installation "The World of Appearances" and Stephan Huber's wall mosaic "Frankfurter Treppe / XX. Jahrhundert," celebrating Frankfurt's twentieth-century urban character.
