The Malik Dinar Mosque, located in Thalangara, Kasaragod, in Kerala, India, is one of the oldest mosques in the country, traditionally dated to around 642–643 CE. Founded by Malik Dinar, the two-storey structure exemplifies Kerala-Islamic architectural tradition. Originally built as a mosque and dargah—a sacred shrine—the complex expanded to encompass a madrasa, cemetery, and orphanage. The building underwent extensive remodelling in the Islamic style in 2018, preserving its significance as a centre of Sufi Sunni worship and learning.
