Built in 1881 for businessman William H. Mann, the Mann-Zwonecek House in Wilber, Nebraska, exemplifies the Italianate and Second Empire styles popular during the era. The residence passed to the Zwonecek family in 1894, who maintained it for over seven decades and preserved its historic character. By the 1970s, it stood as the only surviving home of comparable architectural grandeur in Wilber dating to the early 1880s. The house was recognized for its historical importance and added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 29, 1978.
