McGuffey Hall is a Georgian-style academic building at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, home to the university's College of Education, Health and Society. Named after William Holmes McGuffey, creator of the influential McGuffey Readers textbook series, the hall has housed teacher preparation programs since the early twentieth century, initially operating as the Ohio State Normal College in 1902 before becoming the Teachers' College (1916–29) and later the School of Education. The building also housed the McGuffey Elementary Laboratory School, established in 1910 to provide observation and practice teaching opportunities for university students.
