The Medical Sciences Building, completed in 1969, is the primary structure of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Situated within the historic King's College Circle on the St. George campus in downtown Toronto, this large, predominantly concrete edifice exemplifies the Brutalist architectural style characteristic of the 1960s. Connected to the adjacent Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research along College Street, the building anchors the Toronto Discovery District, which encompasses several major teaching hospitals—Toronto General Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, and The Hospital for Sick Children—that partner with the medical faculty.
