Mickey's Dining Car is a Streamline Moderne diner in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, designed to resemble a railroad dining car. Constructed in 1937 by the Jerry O'Mahony Diner Company of Elizabeth, New Jersey, the prefabricated building was shipped by rail and opened in 1939 on West 7th Street, where it became a local landmark. An unaltered example of the railroad car-style diner—a rare survivor of its type in the American Midwest—it operated continuously from its opening until the COVID-19 pandemic forced closure in 2020, reopening in October 2024. The diner was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 for its architectural and commercial significance and for being a beloved, longstanding social institution.
