Built in 1926 to house and feed construction workers on the new Trail Ridge Road, the Milner Pass Road Camp Mess Hall and House stands in Rocky Mountain National Park near Milner Pass in Grand County, Colorado. Designed by National Park Service architect Daniel Ray Hull, this 35-by-18-foot log structure exemplifies the rustic style the Service pioneered in its parks. The interior comprises three rooms, originally serving as both dining facility and residence for Park Service personnel. It represents one of the park's earliest examples of NPS rustic architecture and was recognized as a historic place when listed on the National Register in 1987.
