The Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes is an Isabelline Gothic monastery in Toledo, Spain, commissioned by the Catholic Monarchs and constructed between 1477 and 1504. Designed by the architect Juan Guas, the building represents the distinctive Isabelline style that flourished during the reign of Isabella I. Originally intended as a royal mausoleum for the monarchs, the monastery was entrusted to the Franciscan order and stands as a significant example of late medieval religious architecture in Castile. Today it is recognized as a bien de interés cultural (property of cultural interest) in Spain.
