The Maine-Montparnasse Tower (also known as Tour Montparnasse) is a 210-metre office skyscraper in the Montparnasse area of Paris's 15th arrondissement, designed by architects Eugène Beaudouin, Urbain Cassan, and Louis de Hoÿm de Marien and constructed between 1969 and 1973. Built in the International Style using reinforced concrete, glass, and metal, it was France's tallest skyscraper until 2011, when surpassed by Tour First in the La Défense district. It remains the tallest building within Paris proper and the fourth tallest in France overall. The building underwent façade redesign proposals beginning in 2017, with the commercial center portion to be redesigned by architect Renzo Piano.
