The Municipal Theatre of Corfu was the principal theatre and opera house in Corfu, Greece, serving the island from 1902 until its destruction in 1943. Built as the successor to the Nobile Teatro di San Giacomo di Corfù—which had been converted into the city hall—it operated for forty-one years as one of Greece's premier cultural venues. During its tenure, the theatre held significance as the first theatre in Southeastern Europe and contributed notably to the arts and cultural history of the Balkans and broader Europe. The building was destroyed during a Luftwaffe aerial bombardment in the final year of World War II.
