The Murat Pasha Mosque is a 15th-century Ottoman structure built in 1471 in the Fatih district of Istanbul, situated in the Aksaray neighborhood between two busy roads connecting Aksaray and Yusufpaşa. Constructed of brick in the Ottoman architectural tradition, the mosque exemplifies the religious architecture of the early Ottoman period, though its cramped urban setting between thoroughfares has defined its spatial character throughout its history.
