The Omaha National Bank Building, constructed in 1888–89 at 1650 Farnam Street in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, exemplifies the Italian Renaissance style through the renowned architectural firm McKim, Mead & White. Originally erected as the New York Life Insurance Building before its 1906 renaming, the structure narrowly escaped demolition through a pivotal rehabilitation undertaken in 1978. Recognized for its historical significance, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
