Located in Orange, Texas, the Orange County Courthouse is an art deco structure completed in 1937 by architect Charles Henry Page of the Austin-based firm C. H. Page and Brother. Built to replace an earlier courthouse destroyed by fire, the building exemplifies the Moderne aesthetic popular during the Depression era, combining streamlined geometric forms with decorative detailing characteristic of the period's progressive architectural vision.
