The Ortonville Free Library in Ortonville, Minnesota is a Carnegie library built in the Mission Revival architectural style. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it exemplifies the philanthropic building program sponsored by Andrew Carnegie that brought public library services to small American towns in the early twentieth century. The Mission Revival design, with its characteristic arched openings and stucco detailing, distinguishes this modest civic structure from the more austere Classical or Romanesque Revival styles favored for Carnegie libraries elsewhere.
