The Palais Lanckoroński was a neo-baroque palace in Vienna's Landstraße District, built in 1894–95 by theatre architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer for Count Karol Lanckoroński. Set back from Jacquingasse behind a walled enclosure with double gates, the three-story residence functioned as both a private home and a showcase for the count's vast art collection. Its wood-paneled entrance hall, two stories high and adorned with family portraits, opened onto festive rooms decorated with 17th-century Gobelin tapestries and frescoes. Throughout the palace, precious paintings, sculptures, and period furniture were arranged in themed ensembles within rooms named to reflect their contents. Severely damaged during World War II, the building was demolished in 1960.
