A ceramic panel in the Valencian Art Nouveau style, created in 1920 and housed at the Gran Cine Royalty in Gandía, Spain, this work represents the decorative ambitions of early twentieth-century Spanish cinema architecture. Executed in ceramic, the panel demonstrates the regional flourishing of Art Nouveau ornament in Valencia during this period. Though the cinema itself is no longer in operation, the panel remains as a designated Property of Local Relevance, preserving a fragment of Gandía's architectural heritage from the era when cinema was an emerging cultural institution worthy of artistic embellishment.
