Park Street Baptist Church, completed in 1854 in Framingham, Massachusetts, represents a synthesis of Colonial Revival and Italianate architectural traditions. Designed by Alexander Rice Esty, the building demonstrates the stylistic eclecticism characteristic of mid-nineteenth-century American ecclesiastical architecture, blending classical proportions and details with the decorative flourishes and vertical emphasis favored during the Italianate period.
