The Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel is a hotel skyscraper in Tehran's District 3, designed by Iranian architect Heydar Ghiai and completed in 1962 during the Pahlavi era. Originally opened as the Royal Tehran Hilton, the 57.3-meter structure exemplifies Pahlavi architecture, the modernist style that characterized Iran's mid-twentieth-century urban development under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
