Pavilion No. 36 Produce Processing, designed by Yuri Sheverdyaev and completed in 1954, stands among the landmark structures of Moscow's VDNKh exhibition grounds. Built in the Stalinist Empire style characteristic of Soviet Modernism, the pavilion exemplifies the monumental architectural language of mid-twentieth-century Soviet achievement. Recognized as a historically valuable town-forming object, the building remains an important element of the VDNKh complex, which showcased Soviet industrial and agricultural progress during the Cold War era.
