The Peasant House in Cheboksary, designed by architect Vasily Nikolaevich Alexandrov and completed in 1928, represents a transitional moment in early Soviet architecture, combining Art Nouveau and Constructivist elements. Originally built as a hotel, the building's design reflects the experimental aesthetic fervor of the late 1920s. Since 1995, it has functioned as a theological school. Today recognized as a federal cultural heritage site in Russia, the structure stands as a significant example of architectural practice during the Soviet Union's formative decades.
