The Peter Gano House is a three-story Queen Anne style residence built between 1888 and 1890 in Avalon, California by civil engineer Peter Gano. The design includes a distinctive cupola, characteristic of the period's ornamental domestic architecture. The house later passed through several owners, including Joshua Reed Giddings in 1921 and John Smith in 1961, and was designated to the National Register of Historic Places on September 15, 1983, where it remains listed as a private residence.
