Pinehurst Court is a Victorian mansion block at 1–9 Colville Gardens in Notting Hill, London, designed by builder George Frederick Tippett and erected in the 1870s. Originally conceived as single-family residences, the terrace began to be subdivided into flats from the 1880s onward. The neighbourhood declined substantially through the early twentieth century, described as "rapidly becoming poorer" by 1928 and a "largely slum area" by 1935. The gentrification of Notting Hill during the 1980s and 1990s restored the building's fortunes, transforming it into part of one of London's most desirable residential areas, near Portobello Market.
