The Plaza de toros Real de San Carlos is a neo-Mudéjar multipurpose building in Colonia del Sacramento, Colonia Department, Uruguay, designed by architect Josip Marković and completed in 1909–1910. Originally constructed as a bullring, it was shuttered shortly after bullfighting was prohibited in Uruguay in 1912, leaving it largely abandoned for over a century. Designated a national heritage site, the structure underwent comprehensive restoration in 2021 and was repurposed as a cultural center hosting musical and sporting events.
