The Plaza Theatre, completed in 1930 in El Paso, Texas, exemplifies Colonial Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. Originally built as a movie theater, this National Register landmark remains one of the city's most prominent cultural venues. The building comprises two performance spaces: the 2,050-seat Kendall Kidd Performance Hall and a smaller 200-seat Philanthropy Theatre. Today it continues its role as a working theater, hosting Broadway productions, musical concerts, and individual performers, while also serving as home to the annual Plaza Classic Film Festival.
