The PRIZAD building stands at 2 Obilićev venac in Belgrade's Stari Grad district, a landmark of Stripped Classicism and modernist architecture designed by Bogdan Nestorović and completed following a 1937 competition. Erected as the headquarters of the Privileged Export Company—an institution of strategic economic importance during the interwar period—the structure commands a dominant position above the Sava River valley. Its non-ornamental facades, purified and harmoniously proportioned, reveal the influence of totalitarian European architecture alongside French monumentalism, marking it as a key achievement of 1930s Belgrade construction. Recognized as a cultural monument, the building later served as the seat of OZNA and, from the early 1960s, became home to TANJUG, the Yugoslav state news agency, with a sculpture of journalist Moše Pijade installed in its lobby.
