The Pulaski County Courthouse in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, comprises two distinct structures reflecting different architectural periods and styles. The original portion, designed by Max A. Orlopp and constructed of stone and brick between 1887 and 1889, showcases Romanesque Revival architecture with elaborate detailing. A large four-story Beaux-Arts annex, designed by George Mann and added in 1913–14, represents one of Mann's most successful commissions and complements the earlier edifice. Situated at 405 West Markham Street amid other state and city government buildings, the courthouse was recognized for its architectural significance when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
