The Pythian Temple stands at 135 West 70th Street in Manhattan's Lincoln Square neighborhood, a striking Egyptian Revival structure completed in 1927 for the Knights of Pythias fraternal organization. Originally designed to serve as a meeting hall for 120 Pythian lodges throughout New York City, the building later housed a recording studio for many years before being converted into The Pythian, an 88-unit luxury condominium.
