The Rialto Cinema in Brussels is a Beaux-Arts movie theater designed by architect Henri Van Massenhove and completed in 1908. Now a protected monument, the building represents the architectural ambitions of early cinema-era Brussels, when purpose-built theaters began to reshape the urban landscape. Though it no longer operates as a cinema, the Rialto survives as a testament to the ornamental grandeur and refined proportions characteristic of Beaux-Arts design in the Belgian capital.
