The Riviera Plaza Hotel is a Mediterranean Revival structure completed in 1924 in Miami Beach, designed by architect R. A. Preas. Originally functioning as an apartment hotel, the building exemplifies the architectural style popular in South Florida during the early twentieth-century real estate boom, when Mediterranean Revival design became a hallmark of Miami Beach's resort development.
