The Robert Treat Paine Estate, known as Stonehurst, is a country house designed by architect Henry Hobson Richardson in collaboration with landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted for philanthropist Robert Treat Paine, completed in 1866 in Waltham, Massachusetts. Set on 109 acres, the residence exemplifies both Second Empire and Shingle style architecture characteristic of its era. Since 1974, the estate has been owned by the City of Waltham and maintained as a public park, making it believed to be the only residential collaboration between Richardson and Olmsted open to the public. The property is listed as a National Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places.
