Roma Termini is the main railway station of Rome, Italy, and the country's busiest rail hub, handling approximately 150 million passengers annually and 850 trains daily—making it the fifth-busiest station in Europe. Named after the district that takes its name from the ancient Baths of Diocletian situated across the street from its entrance, the station was designed by architects Achille Pintonello, Annibale Vitellozzi, Eugenio Montuori, and Angiolo Mazzoni in the rationalist architectural style. As a dead-end central station, it serves as a major transportation nexus for Rome.
