Saint George Church in Haftvan, Salmas County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran, is a thirteenth-century Armenian Apostolic church that exemplifies the architectural traditions of its era. Built during a period when Ilkhanid and later Safavid styles influenced the region's religious structures, the church reflects the layered history of Armenian Christian architecture in northwestern Iran. The building underwent significant restoration in 1652 and again following the destructive 1930 Salmas earthquake, which required substantial reconstruction. An early twentieth-century auditorium structure stands nearby in partially ruined condition. The church is recognized as part of Iran's National Heritage.
