St. George Church stands at the outskirts of Sverdlov village in Lori Province, Armenia, exemplifying Armenian architectural traditions of the 6th century. The structure has undergone significant reconstruction in the 19th century and again by 2010, when it was reconsecrated on June 19 under Bishop Sebouh Chouldjian, primate of the Diocese of Gougark. Now recognized as a cultural heritage monument in Armenia, the church represents an enduring example of medieval Armenian religious architecture.
