Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee is a brick structure completed in 1889 by architects Eugene R. Liebert and Herman Schnetzky for a German-rooted Lutheran congregation. Designed in the Gothic Revival style with Queen Anne elements, the church reflects late-nineteenth-century ecclesiastical architecture in the Midwest. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 and designated a Milwaukee Landmark. The building remains an active parish of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a Confessional Lutheran denomination.
