Saki Hyōtan-yama Kofun is a zenpō-kōen-fun (keyhole-shaped burial mound) located in the Sakiemondo-chō neighborhood of Nara in Japan's Kansai region. Designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1971, this ancient tumulus exemplifies the distinctive architectural form of early Japanese funerary monuments, characterized by its keyhole configuration. Though commonly called simply Hyōtanyama Kofun, this name is shared by numerous kofun throughout Japan, making the fuller designation necessary for precise identification.
